My Most Recent Projects (Portraits)
'Portrait of ChemSci Tutor' Taken by Jennifer Hart, 2023
I took this photograph outside for ChemSci Tutor, Helen. She wanted an updated profile portrait so her clients past, present and future have an idea of who she is. This has been used for her Linked-In profile. It has gathered a lot of interest and has landed her more clients.
''Boy With a Basket of Fruit' by Caravaggio Upcycled' Taken by Jennifer Hart, 2022
I took this photograph in the studio of Gloucestershire College for a collaborative project of upcycling old paintings. This was later used alongside some other examples of other upcycled photographs, making some older painting come back to life in modern day form for a magazine article. We did this as a group, with efforts from everyone in deciding what paintings to go for, what outfits/ props to use, what style of lighting, poses, and backdrop.
Looking Back on Older Projects (Other Styles)
'Office Desk' Taken by Jennifer Hart, 2021
This image was taken as part of my 'Communication in Art and Design' project in my HNC Photography course. The purpose behind this project was to put together pieces from individual rooms into a formation that would be inspired by photographers Becca M and Ansel Adams so viewers could get ideas on what to put into their own rooms.
'Locked In' Taken by Jennifer Hart, 2020
'CAD and Photography' Taken by Jennifer Hart, 2021
This image was taken as part of my 'Independent Unit 3' project in my HNC Photography course. The purpose behind this project was to put together two objects from different rooms in a house into a formation so viewers could see how two different objects could go together in a more elevated formation.
Taken by Jennifer Hart, 2021
I developed my lockdown negatives in the darkoom at my college, when I had a spare moment. It was nice looking back at such a unique time. I was quite proud of myself, as I managed to develop the 35mm ILFORD film by myself. I love this piece because it is so symbolic of the lockdown and not being able to leave the house; it is the barrier to the outside; a prison.
This was done using the Bronica, a medium format film camera. We went out to the local park, and practised bracketing, underexposing, underexposing and optimum exposures. I really love this piece as it has so much detail and character to it.
